“Good evening… We welcome you on a tour through America’s Smallest Haunted Restroom. The things you experience may be among the most upsetting, disturbing, horrifying things imaginable. It will defy all explanation. Welcome… to The Haunted Bathroom.”
Located inside of art store/gallery Wonder Fair, on Lawrence’s historic Mass Street, The Haunted Bathroom is part permanent art installation, part roadside attraction, and entirely a joke taken way too far. The Bathroom has been featured on Roadside America (on the User Submission page), Lawrence’s list of Best Public Restrooms (we placed second), and is ranked America’s Smallest Haunted Restroom (by us). It’s also Wonder Fair’s only restroom, for which I eternally apologize for to Wonder Fair’s employees.
Born from our love of kitschy tourist traps, the Bathroom appropriately offers a full range of branded souvenirs, from postcards and bumper stickers, to packaged soaps and souvenir T.P. Undue to popular demand, we’ve also released our own soundtrack, an homage to the 90s Halloween SFX cassettes from our youth.
The Bathroom is a collaboration between Wonder Fair, Paul DeGeorge (Project Director, Music), Dustin Williams (Artist/Souvenir Designer), Jon Linn (Music), Joe DeGeorge (Music), Flavio Curella (Effect Programming), and Mason Barry (3D Rendering/Animation).
